ATS Core EA is a MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor for the H1 chart. Our team built its strategy in Expert Advisor Studio on EURJPY, without writing code, and runs it on the same trading engine as our other ATS EAs: money management, the grid, the trading session, the protections, the news filter and the on-chart panel all work the same way.
The entry has two conditions. The MACD line (9, 20, 9) crosses zero on the last closed bar: up for a buy, down for a sell. And the ADX (49) is rising, which says the move is gaining strength. ADX does not show a direction, so the same check applies to both sides, and the EA buys and sells about equally often.
Every trade has a 10-pip take profit and no stop loss. If price moves the other way, the grid in the supplied set files adds a position of the same size at a fixed distance, and the whole basket closes together once it is 10 pips past its average entry. The only limit on a losing basket is the basket stop at half the account balance. Most baskets close within hours, but a basket that reaches the stop loses far more than a winning basket makes. It is not a fit for beginners. Past results, in a backtest or on a live account, don't guarantee future results, and trading with an EA can lose money.
ATS Core EA is a simple, readable H1 grid: two indicators in, a 10-pip target out, and a basket stop at half the balance as the limit.

Test it on a demo account first, and size it so that a basket stop at half the balance is a loss you can survive. The backtest reports above show each set file over the last five years, updated as new data comes in: check the maximum drawdown next to the gain, and the equity line for open losses. The GBPUSD test includes a basket that reached the basket stop in September 2023; the replay under The Basket Stop, in What Is Inside ATS Core EA, shows how it happened. Our live account at BlackBull Markets is at the top of this page, with its deepest drawdown next to its gain. Until September 2026 it also ran the EA on GBPCHF and AUDCHF; since then it runs only the three supplied set files.
Setup, the grid and licensing.
It runs on H1. The strategy was built on EURJPY, and the package has set files for AUDCAD, EURJPY and GBPUSD. Load the set file that matches the chart.
It is a grid EA. The supplied set files add positions of the same size at a fixed distance, so it is not a martingale. If you change the grid volume mode to increment, scale or Fibonacci, each new position is larger, which works like a martingale and raises the risk.
Not on each trade in the supplied set files. The whole basket closes when its open loss reaches 50% of the balance. You can lower that limit in the inputs (GridStopLossValue), or set your own daily and equity limits under the protections.
The inputs allow it: with the grid off, each trade gets its own stop loss. Our backtests and our live account all run the supplied grid set files, so we have no results to show for that way of running it.
Yes. The grid holds several positions on the same pair at once, and the EA refuses to start with the grid on a netting account.

The starting balance of each backtest and of our live account is shown in its report. Plan for the basket stop: on the supplied settings one losing basket can take half of the balance.

Usually not on the supplied settings. Many firms ban grid trading, and a basket's open loss can break a daily or overall drawdown limit long before the basket stop. Check the firm's rules first.
Yes, for live trading. The EA has to run without interruption to manage open baskets, which close on its own target and stop, and to check its licence.
After you buy, your licence key is in My Account › Licenses, where you also enter the MetaTrader account numbers you will trade on. Paste the key into License_Key and allow WebRequest for https://algotradingspace.com. The EA checks the licence when it starts and every few hours after.
